50 Year Anniversary 1974 - 2024

In 2024 Dura-Wear Industries celebrates 50 year in business. 

Established in 1974, our first clothing factory opened in Fitzroy, Victoria before moving to Northcote in the early 1980's. It was here that the factory workforce grew to over 50 staff when local garment manufacturing was still a viable option in Australia.

We have since expanded to become a national supplier with a broad range of clients, from small businesses with only a handful of staff through to large multinationals.

Specialising in garment design, manufacture, import, wholesale and retail operations, we employ over 40 staff across 6 sites in Victoria and NSW.

Remaining true to our roots we still maintain in-house garment manufacturing, providing full control of the design and sampling process, in addition to short -run specialised garments, repairs and alterations.

We continue to operate our own exclusive offshore manufacturing operation that continues our proud and longstanding manufacturing history.

Jonothon Ray

Group General Manager

Jonothon has been working within the garment and hospitality supply industry for over 25 years. With a vast knowledge of garment manufacturing, sourcing and logistics, Jonothon oversees all facets of our company  including design, manufacture, import, wholesale, retail and e-commerce operations.

Bruce Roscrow

National Sales Manager

Bruce has been involved within the uniform and textile trades for over 35 years, beginning his career with a school wear manufacturer/retailer followed by almost 20 years in the textile industry. Bruce has a strong knowledge of corporate uniforms, in particular suiting, and is responsible for servicing key accounts in VIC, TAS, SA, WA, NT and QLD.

Simon Radtke

Sales & Operations Manager

Simon is a qualified chef who has been working within the chef supplies field for over 20 years. A highly process driven individual, Simon is responsible for sales and support to the education sector, in addition to product sourcing and development.

Jacqui Walford

Senior Account Manager 

Jacqui first started in our retail area and has progressively worked her way up to a senior management level, learning all aspects of our business along the way. Jacqui's high energy and attention to detail ensures efficient management within all areas of our business.

Anthony Gatley

General Manager
Sales & Operations - NSW

A qualified chef, Anthony has worked in both back and front of house areas in numerous facets of the hospitality industry. In recent years Anthony has worked in the training and education sectors, his most recent position being Program Leader at William Angliss NSW. Anthony oversees our NSW operation and is responsible for business development and sales into the hotel and education sectors.

Senior Account Manager

A creative thinker with extensive experience in administration, operations, retail and management within various industries, Dove provides exceptional support and service to staff, clients and customers.

Kris Buscombe

Manager – Online Sales & Marketing

Kris manages all online content, marketing and sales, and is a wealth of knowledge of our huge inventory of hospitality uniforms and equipment.

Lucy Greco

Purchasing Officer

Lucy started with us in our garment factory, moved into retail and now oversees purchasing of our 40,000+ line items.

Jane knows just about every chef in town, has the inside word on the hospitality trade and knows our business and products inside and out.

Glenn Kotlowski

Garment Design & Manufacturing

A qualified designer and tailor having completed a diploma in fashion design, Glenn develops all garment design, pattern making and cutting.

Stefan Loizou

Warehouse Manager

Stefan brings a wealth of experience from his 12 years of working various roles within the hospitality industry, including running his own food truck for 5 years. Stefan manages all warehouse logistics and operations coupled with a hard work ethic, a can-do attitude and a welcoming smile.

Zahry and his dedicated team at the Club Chef Surry Hills NSW store deliver a welcoming and supportive environment to the local hospitality industry.
